Symposium

The national symposium focused on “Prospects and challenges of resource-oriented sanitation systems in Ethiopia” held at AAIT meeting hall, 12 march, 2019. The symposium aimed at resource recovery (Nitrogen and phosphorus) from wastewater (particularly urine) to enhance the sanitation coverage and agricultural productivity. The Executive Director of AAIT, Esayas G/Yohannes (Dr), said that such kind of symposium has great benefit to show up the research conducted focusing on resource recovery. International and national organizations have participated in the research as a partner.

ONE DAY FOR MY PEOPLE

A community engagement event focused on “One day For My People” held at AAIT, 16 march, 2019.The engagement aimed at campus compound cleaning, a renovation for damaged homes of economically disadvantage people, medical machineries maintenance at yekatit 12 and Menelik hospitals and a fund raising event for upcoming services projects of the institute. The Executive Director of AAIT, Esayas G/Yohannes (Dr), said that “recently we are working hard to fill this gap. we planned to actively engaged with our society.

Ethiopian airlines plane has crashed..

Ethiopian airlines plane has crashed. An Ethiopian Airlines plane Boing 737 has crashed after take-off from Addis Ababa to Nairobi.149 passengers and eight crew members were on flight ET-302 from the Ethiopian capital to Nairobi in Kenya. All 157 have died by the accident. The crash happened Sunday morning at 08:44 AM local time, six minutes after took off.
