Graduate School Application Mentorship The Ethiopian Physics Society in North America (EPSNA) is recruiting undergraduate students for a mentorship program that aims to help students apply to graduate schools abroad. The purpose of the program is to promote research and support talented students in competing for graduate scholarships offered at universities across the globe. Eligibility: ● A bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields from higher education institutions in Ethiopia ● A citizen of Ethiopia ● The student must be in her/his final year of studies or must have graduated in the 2020/2021 academic year ● A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher EPSNA will provide the following supports for 10 students accepted for the mentorship program: ● Cover the expense for the TOEFL and GRE exams ● Cover the expense for GRE exam preparation materials ● Cover the expense for a limited number of graduate school application fees ● Support students in preparation of graduate school application materials (e.g., guidance and proofreading essays) To apply for the mentorship program, students should submit an online application form that can be found at <font color="red" '="">https://www.epsna.org/mentorship-21.html or at https://forms.gle/erwtpTkW9yuUUpRK9 before August 25, 2021 Submit Online Application In the online application form, you have to answer the following questions and submit before the deadline. Note that each question is worth 25%, and the 10 highest scorers will be selected. Therefore, try to answer each question carefully. 1. What are your career aspirations? (1500 characters maximum) 2. What drives you to achieve your goals? And how do you envision the program of study you choose to pursue in graduate school helping you to reach your goals? (1500 characters maximum) 3. What are your research interests? (2000 characters maximum) 4. Why might you be a stronger candidate for graduate school ﹘ and more successful and effective in the profession or field than other applicants? What are the most compelling reasons you can give for the admissions committee to be interested in you? (1500 characters maximum)
